I create one-of-a-kind fused glass pieces to customer specifications. All the pieces displayed in the photo gallery are sold. However, I am happy to create an art piece to your specifications. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to begin the process.
My glass art is inspired by the beautiful Tahoe environment in which I live. My pieces are joyful, whimsical and filled with color, movement and texture.
I discovered fused glass thirteen years ago before retiring from a 38 year school teaching career. Since then I have taken a variety of classes, attended workshops and experimented in my home studio to include new techniques and develop my art work. I enjoy working with my clients to create glass pieces that they treasure.
How large can I make your projects?
I have a large kiln, allowing me to make 24" x 24"projects. I can also make projects that are longer, the longest being 35".
What About Pricing?
Prices depend on the complexity and size of the project. I have listed some of the prices of my sold pieces in the photo gallery. I include stands with all of my table top projects and wall hangings come with wall mounts.

Where will your piece by located? What is its' purpose? Are you considering specific colors? What size would you like? Are you creating a mood? I'll create glass to fulfill your dream!
Glass comes in many wonderful textures and I incorporate many in my pieces. I add many or all of the following to a base piece: glass confetti, fruit, powder, metal foils and paint. Each type of glass creates a different texture and emotion. I discuss these in a later page.
You will be thrilled by the brilliant colors and luminescence of glass. Nature provides the palate and glass brings magic.
Often clients want pieces to be three dimensional. That can be achieved by layering different pieces. I glue each glass part to a metal piece that fits into another metal piece located on a different glass part.
